Featurespace has been named in part two of The Times’ series on the UK’s most promising AI start-ups.

Martina King, CEO at Featurespace, shared in an interview with enterprise editor, James Hurley, how Featurespace broke through in data analysis software.

She discusses how we chose to deploy our powerful, Cambridge-born Adaptive Behavioral Analytics technology in financial services, as opposed to many other possible use cases, because it was an industry “already speaking the language of computer sciences”.

Ten years on, that choice has had a significant impact on the industry’s ability to protect against fraud and financial crime.

We now have 100 clients of varying sizes using our industry-leading fraud prevention capabilities. Featurespace outperforms rivals, spotting the most difficult fraud that most banks miss.

As fraudsters turn to GenAI and other sophisticated technologies, it’s a “battle of machines”, as King puts it. As a result, Featurespace keeps pushing ourselves to innovate, stay ahead of fraudsters, and make the world a safer place to transact.
